My name is Mike Baker, in 2006 I set-up Aileach Design to provide an innovative and alternative web and desktop solutions to fit your business needs.
Aileach Design is located in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, Ireland and on the world wide web.
Having worked in IT since 1990 I have seen many changes in the whole industry but have also gained a great understanding of technological solutions and being able to understand what people require from their IT systems.
In 1990, I started out after graduating from college developing a large manufacturing system in COBOL on VAX/VMS since then I have continued to learn a large number of technologies including Powerhouse, BASIC, FORTRAN, SQL, Mainframe, UNIX, Oracle Application Server and various web and object oriented languages. This experience has been across government, financial services, manufacturing, retail and pharmaceutical sectors.
Over the past number of years I have been extensively involved in the web development. Having worked for a large corporation I was involved in providing input into their clients IT strategy.
